Protect the Dream PAC was founded to ensure that bold ideas for progress don’t die on the campaign trail. After running for office in a heavily gerrymandered district, Tamie Wilson refused to let her work and the trust of thousands of supporters go to waste. She had written 10 bills aimed at strengthening democracy, expanding rights, and addressing systemic failures, but losing the election meant those ideas risked being abandoned. Instead of walking away, she created Protect the Dream PAC to continue the fight. Along the way, she saw firsthand the growing threats posed by extremist politicians, government inaction, and judicial rulings that strip away fundamental protections. Now, this PAC is dedicated to exposing corruption, advocating for justice, and enacting real policy change to protect democracy and civil rights. Through litigation, legislation, grassroots organizing, and public education, Protect the Dream PAC is leading the charge against extremism and fighting for a future where justice, fairness, and accountability prevail.

TAMIE WILSON Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Hailing from Westerville, Ohio, Tamie Wilson is an accomplished professional, entrepreneur, and devoted single mother with a passion for advocacy and community service. As the proud granddaughter of a WWII veteran, she was raised with deep respect for American values, integrity, and hard work. Growing up biracial instilled in her a strong sense of compassion, tolerance, and patience—qualities that have defined her personal and professional journey.

From an early age, Tamie’s values were nurtured in a loving home rooted in strong American traditions. Her “get in there and get it done” attitude was shaped by time spent helping on her uncle’s farm in Gallipolis, Ohio, near the iconic Bob Evans homestead. Guided by her parents' principles of financial conservatism and social responsibility, she developed the resilience and resourcefulness needed to navigate life’s challenges.

Tamie has always been driven to make a difference. She spent years working with special needs children, reinforcing her deep-seated commitment to uplifting those who need support the most. As an Ohio native, she understands the struggles of everyday families, small business owners, single parents, and hardworking individuals, who often feel ignored by a government that has lost touch with the people it serves.

Fighting for Justice and Accountability...
After witnessing firsthand the failures of government, Tamie Wilson took action. She ran for U.S. Congress in both the 2022 and 2024 elections, challenging the dangerous extremism that has taken root in American politics. Her opponent, Jim Jordan, has well-documented ties to extremist groups and played a role in the planning of the January 6th insurrection—an attack on our democracy that sought to overturn a free and fair election.

Beyond his role in undermining democracy, Jordan has also been implicated in covering up sexual abuse while serving as an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University. Survivors have come forward alleging that Jordan had knowledge of the sexual abuse committed by team doctor Richard Strauss but failed to act. During her campaign, Tamie became deeply connected with the courageous wrestlers who were victimized by Dr. Strauss, listening to their experiences and advocating for justice on their behalf. Inspired by their fight, she drafted The Comprehensive Sexual Abuse Prevention and Accountability Act, ensuring that survivors have stronger legal protections and avenues for justice.

Exposing the Hidden Impact of Project 2025...
Tamie’s advocacy extends beyond electoral politics. She is working tirelessly to expose judicial rulings that harm everyday Americans, including the Cummings v. Premier Rehab case. This Supreme Court decision involved Jane Cummings, a deaf and blind woman who was denied an ASL interpreter for physical therapy and sued for emotional distress—only to have the Court rule against her. This landmark decision overturned 60 years of legal precedent, stripping 15 different protected classes of people of their ability to sue for emotional distress. The case serves as a chilling preview of how extremist policies, such as those outlined in Project 2025, will negatively impact the most vulnerable members of society.

Our organization is backed by a dedicated legal team, activist alliances, and community advocates committed to exposing corruption, holding extremist politicians accountable, and pushing for real change. Together, we work on policy initiatives, grassroots organizing, and legal strategies to protect the rights and well-being of everyday Americans.

CATHE CARAWAY Civil Rights Attorney

Cathe is a distinguished civil rights attorney serving on the legal team and advisory board of Stop the Extremists PAC. With over 30 years of experience as an employment lawyer, she has dedicated her career to fighting for workers' rights in California courts. Passionate about championing justice, she has represented tens of thousands of workers in hundreds of cases, securing millions of dollars in unpaid wages for those who rightfully earned them.

Cathe earned her bachelor's degree in international relations from UC Davis and her law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where she received academic honors. She began her legal career at a personal injury firm in Los Angeles, where she quickly became the go-to attorney for workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases. Recognizing her true calling, she established her own law firm to focus exclusively on employment law.

In 2004, Cathe took on her first class action wage and hour lawsuit, representing restaurant workers who were paid less than minimum wage and faced discrimination based on their nationality. The success of that case forced a restaurant chain to comply with fair pay laws, igniting her passion for class action litigation. Since then, she has continued to advocate for workers, earning Super Lawyer recognition every year from 2013 to 2022.

A landmark moment in Cathe’s career came in 2015 when she won Mendiola vs. CPS, a class action case on behalf of security guards who were required to be on duty 24 hours a day but were only paid for eight. The California Supreme Court's decision in this case set a powerful precedent, ensuring that workers in similar situations would be compensated for all their time. This ruling has since been cited multiple times by the California Supreme Court and appellate courts as a cornerstone of worker protections.

In 2021, Cathe joined Davtyan Law Firm to expand access to justice for California workers statewide. Now, as a key member of Stop the Extremists PAC, she brings her legal expertise to the fight against right-wing extremism, helping to hold those who violate civil rights, democracy, and the rule of law accountable. Her commitment to justice and democracy is a vital part of the PAC’s mission to combat extremism and protect fundamental freedoms.
